Thanks for downloading this scheme. I hope you will enjoy using and working with it. Feel free to lift resources etc. if you want. All I ask is that if you use my buttons, widgets or other things, you give me a credit somewhere, kind of "ultracool widgets suggested by ric zito" or " incredible recessed OK button inspired by ric zito".;-)
This scheme is compatible with Kaleidoscope 1.5. through 1.7.3+
The design ideas behind it are self evident. Softness, smoothness, and a redefinition of the architecture of the window. The principal areas of innovation are the headers, scrollbars, the recessed buttons, and some of the checkboxes and widgets.
There is one particularity of Kaleidoscope which forced a compromise on me with respect to the window designs: there seems currently to be no way to draw the left vertical inner border of the window, without making a full-height line that invades the header and scroll areas. The windows are currently left "unbordered" on the left. Actually it looks pretty cool, like,...er, "deliberately unbalanced?" Anyhow, there ain't no way around it for now, so one just lives with it.
Black & white supported, but looks kinda crap. Sorry, but black and white ain't ma thang...
The 2.0 version has benefited from tweaks all over the interface, which are too numerous to mention. If you have version 1.0 still, throw it out...
